Public Transport
The best way to get to Puerto Galera by public transport is to catch a bus from Pasay terminals in Manila to Batangas pier and then catch a large public banca (out-rigger boat) direct to Sabang Beach. We will meet you at Sabang Beach and escort you directly to your chosen accommodation. Taking the bus is best for experienced travelers. Total cost per person is around PHP500 (USD10 – 12).
Tourist Bus
For the budget traveler another option is the Sikat tourist bus services which depart from the City State Tower in Ermita at 8:00am every morning. If you wish we will meet you at Sabang Beach and escort you directly to your chosen accommodation.
Total cost per person is around PHP750 (USD16 – 18) which includes bus and ferry tickets and a guide.
Private Car/ Public Boat
A popular method is to take a taxi or private car from Manila to Batangas, then a public banca to Sabang beach where we will meet and escort you directly to - Natural Born Divers. We can organize a car and driver to pick you up at your hotel or the airport. This is good option for singles or couples, and normally takes 3 to 4 hours depending on the banca schedules.
Typical cost is PHP3,300 (USD75) for the car, and PHP280-350 (including terminal fees) per person for the banca (boat).
Private Transit
Taking a private car and banca is the hassle free way to get to Puerto Galera and back, especially by two people or more where the costs may be shared. We will arrange to pick you up at your hotel or the airport in an air conditioned vehicle and drive you in comfort to Berberabe beach near Batangas where you will board a private banca for direct transfer to your villa. The car trip is normally about 2.5 hours from Manila to Berbreabe beach and the boat trip 1 hour across beautiful Verde Passage. Cost is PHP6,800 (USD150-160) one way, all inclusive, for up to 6 people.
Seaplane
You can even choose to fly in and out of Sabang Beach by sea plane. Certainly the fastest and most scenic way to get here!
Pickup is available from Subic or Manila Bay NB: This option is weather dependent as flights will not operate if sea conditions are rough.
Typical cost is US600 in total, one-way for up to 4 adults.
